Idaho Milk Products began operations in 2009, sourcing milk from three of the largest independently owned and operated dairies in the United States. Today, we are a vertically integrated dairy company, bringing together a team of scientists, technicians, production specialists, and business professionals to deliver high-quality dairy ingredients and reliable service to food manufacturers worldwide.

Our dairies are located within 50 miles of our production facility, ensuring a consistent, fresh supply of milk and supporting efficient, sustainable operations at scale.

Building on our strong foundation in dairy ingredients, Idaho Milk Products continues to expand with the addition of our state-of-the-art ice cream and powder blending facility in Jerome. Designed with advanced technology and precision processing, this integrated operation enables us to deliver exceptional quality, consistency, and innovation across a broader range of dairy products.

Purpose-built for both scale and flexibility, the facility supports a wide range of production capabilities—from premium ice cream novelties to bulk formats and custom dairy formulations. We can produce up to 54,000 novelty items per hour, including stick bars, sandwiches, and cones, with options for variegates, inclusions, and dual coatings. Our bulk production capabilities reach up to 14,400 pints per hour or 7,200 48-ounce containers per hour, with flexible packaging options ranging from 3 ounces to half-gallon containers. In addition, our powder blending operation further expands our capabilities to serve customers with customized solutions and high-performance dairy ingredients.

Agropur Cooperative, founded in 1938, is a North American dairy industry leader with sales nearing $6.4 billion. Agropur boasts experienced cheese makers and state-of-the-art equipment, creating cheeses of outstanding consistency. Agropur’s Jerome plant plays a large role in the overall Agropur family, which numbers 39 locations across North America. Agropur’s numbers speak for themselves:

• Receives 90+ truckloads of raw milk
• Ships 15+ truckloads of cheese
• Ships 7+ truckloads of whey powder across the United States and overseas
• Ships an average of three loads of cream to butter and ice cream plants in the United States
• Produces 400,000+ gallons of useable water (about 3.4 million pounds)

Seattle-based Darigold, Inc., is the marketing and processing subsidiary of the Northwest Dairy Association, a producer cooperative proudly owned by farmers across six states. Darigold produces a full line of dairy products for retail, food service, ingredient and specialty markets. The company also produces cheese, milk powder, and whey products for institutions, food brokers, and food-processing companies. These ingredient customers range from small food processors to very large multi-national food companies with household names.

Founded in 1908, Commercial Creamery is a leading manufacturer of cheese powders, specialty dairy powders, and seasonings. From our production facility in Jerome, Idaho, we serve thousands of clients in the United States and throughout the world, and export our products to more than 30 countries. Our products are used in a wide range of applications such as snack foods, soups and sauces, dressings and dips, pet foods, beverages, baking, nutraceuticals, entrees, and flavor applications.

Founded more than 20 years ago as a milk-marketing cooperative, MVQMP has become a trusted, reliable supplier of quality raw milk to its customers. Today, MVQMP can count some of the world’s leading cheese, powder, and fluid manufacturers among its client base. In 2019, MVQMP completed a $20 million facility in Jerome and began processing condensed milk and other products. MVQMP chose to operate in Jerome because of the many advantages of processing milk in Idaho: low cost compared to the national average and ample milk supply that has historically been one of the most competitively priced milk markets in the nation.

At 352,000 square feet the True West Beef processing facility opened in Jerome in 2023. Jerome was the ideal location as the community embodies the western way of life, while being centrally located to cattle producer partners and western metropolitan markets.

A full line of high-quality beef products under the True West Beef and Double R Ranch Northwest Beef brands are produced at True West Beef, including premium steaks and portioned cuts for retail and foodservice markets. True West Beef combines advanced processing capabilities with access to regional cattle supply to deliver consistent, high-quality products to customers across the country. The facility strengthens Jerome’s role in value-added agriculture while expanding opportunities in protein processing beyond dairy.

The nation’s largest manufacturer of premium twice baked potatoes, Rite Stuff Foods produces a wide range of value-added potato products for retail and foodservice markets. The company builds on the quality and flavor of Idaho® potatoes to deliver innovative products, including twice baked potatoes, potato skins, wedges, mashed potatoes, and filled potato items. In addition to its core potato lines, Rite Stuff has expanded into appetizers such as mac & cheese bites, cauliflower bites, croquettes, and cheese-based snacks—adapting flavors and portioning to meet evolving customer needs.
