Trades & Safety

Taking a trade and safety course through CSI's Workforce provides hands-on training, industry-relevant curriculum, certifications, job placement assistance, and affordable, accessible opportunities for career advancement.   Content includes such topics as Working in Confined Space, Scaffolding, Rigging, Fall Prevention, Swift Water Rescue, Welding, Scissor Life, Small Engine Repair, and more.

Career and Technical Education

Career & Technical Education at the College of Southern Idaho provides hands-on, career-focused training in programs Nursing, Veterinary Technology, Law Enforcement, Fire Science, Dental Hygiene, or Culinary Arts that prepares students for high-demand jobs. With flexible pathways ranging from short-term certificates to associate degrees, CTE programs are built in partnership with industry to ensure graduates are job-ready from day one.
