CSI Jerome Center
The new CSI Jerome Center, slated to open this Fall, represents a major investment in local workforce access and community growth. Located in Jerome, the center will bring high-quality education and training opportunities closer to home—making it easier for residents and employers to connect with CSI’s resources without leaving the community.

Apprenticeships
Registered Apprenticeships combine paid, on-the-job training with classroom instruction, allowing participants to earn while they learn and graduate with a nationally recognized credential. Through the College of Southern Idaho, these programs are built with employers to develop real-world skills in high-demand fields like Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Machine Operator, and Industrial Maintenance—creating a strong pipeline of skilled talent for the region.
Trades & Safety
Taking a trade and safety course through CSI's Workforce provides hands-on training, industry-relevant curriculum, certifications, job placement assistance, and affordable, accessible opportunities for career advancement. Content includes such topics as Working in Confined Space, Scaffolding, Rigging, Fall Prevention, Swift Water Rescue, Welding, Scissor Life, Small Engine Repair, and more.
Career and Technical Education
Career & Technical Education at the College of Southern Idaho provides hands-on, career-focused training in programs Nursing, Veterinary Technology, Law Enforcement, Fire Science, Dental Hygiene, or Culinary Arts that prepares students for high-demand jobs. With flexible pathways ranging from short-term certificates to associate degrees, CTE programs are built in partnership with industry to ensure graduates are job-ready from day one.
