Idaho Milk Products officially opened its newest facility in Jerome with a ribbon cutting and celebration Thursday afternoon.
The new ice cream and powder blending plant is the company’s second facility in the Magic Valley. Officials said it represents years of growth and investment in Idaho’s dairy industry.
“We’ve built this as a state-of-the-art plant, a high-capacity ice cream plant. It can produce novelty ice cream in various formats and bulk ice cream,” said Daragh Maccabee, CEO of Idaho Milk Products.
