As National Dairy Month continues, Idaho Farm Bureau is giving consumers a closer look at the work that goes into caring for dairy cows and producing milk.
At Dungan Dairy, the family says healthy cows are the foundation of a successful dairy. That starts with proper nutrition, plenty of water and regular veterinary care to keep both cows and calves healthy.
The farm also emphasizes cow comfort, saying dairy cows thrive in a calm environment where they can rest and relax.
